Commission C Gives Positive Assessment of PAM Jaya

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission C, in an evaluation meeting with Perumda PAM Jaya on Thursday (9/11), assessed the company's performance as fairly good, particularly in terms of financials.

"... things have been going quite well so far,"

"In terms of performance evaluation, things have been going quite well so far, especially financially. With about four months remaining in the year, there is still time to meet the set targets," said Commission C Chairman, Dimaz Radita.

Dimaz also commended PAM Jaya's efforts in addressing customer complaints, particularly through Lapor PAM, the first super app that integrates all customer services into a single platform.

In addition, PAM Jaya has introduced the PAM Lab Mobile Laboratory to enhance services throughout Jakarta.

"I appreciate this app because it helps speed up service. Although it's currently only available on Android, hopefully it will soon be available on iOS as well," he added.

Dimaz noted that the evaluation meeting also addressed the proposal to change PAM Jaya's legal status from Perumda to Perseroda.

On this matter, he explained that the council has yet to decide whether to approve or reject the proposal, as there are still differing views among the public.

However, he emphasized that PAM Jaya's core mission must remain public service, not profit. He stressed that any change in legal status must not compromise this commitment.

"If it shifts toward commercialization, we certainly won't agree," Dimaz asserted.
